Ty Audronis's education is in animation and special effects. Ty is highly experienced in all aspects of 3D animation (modeling, textureing, animation, kinematics, particle systems, etc), compositing, and traditional effects work.

he first clip of this reel is from Life: A Cosmic Story (a fulldome show) wherein Ty stepped in to help out as a character animator. Ty spent 3 weeks observing ant movements under a microscope to mimic their timing. Ty also gained access to high speed footage of ants walking and greeting each other to mimic these movements. Finally, Ty worked with Brian Fisher (a world-leading entimologist in the area of ants) to fine tune the movements of the creatures.
Also included on this reel are clips from Contractor's Routine (a feature film that Ty was Special Effects Supervisor) and various productions throughout Ty's career (from news productions to advertising to short and feater length film).
