Media and Art are the driving forces in Ty's career. With a strong background in technology, Ty has relentlessly persued knowledge and assets that fuse the two worlds. In the mid-90's, it became obvious to Ty that the world of the internet and art would fuse eventually. So, Ty persued an education in computer generated special effects, while growing his programming and technology talents in parallel.

Video & Film
Ty is highly skilled in virtually every facet of video and film. From script writing to distribution, Ty has professional experience in all areas of pre-production, production, and post production.
Ty is a certified Avid and Final Cut editor, has an education in special effects and computer animation, and has directed large and small crews.

Visual Effects
Visual effects are how Ty got his start in media. Ty has been using computer animation in his productions since 1996. Ty won his first award for computer animation in 1997 (a 'Rosebud' award ("Best Animation") for his production called "W" (about an M&M that got stamped upside down)). Since that time, Ty has been involved in several award winning productions seen by millions of viewers.

Sound
Ty Audronis has been working with sound and sound design even longer than with visual media. Ty began relentlessly learning about sound and 
music in the mid-80's and had his first sound design job in 1994. Recently, Ty has done sound design in 5.1, 7.1, and stereo at California Academy of Sciences for planetarium shows. One of Ty's sound design jobs for the Academy has been distributed to planetariums and schools world-wide by the "Citizen Sky" project. Other sound and music projects have been nominated for awards (recently, "Vernichter" was nominated for "Best Music" - along with 4 other nominations and 2 awards).

Music
Ty Audronis has been composing and recording music since the mid 1980's. Ty scored his first production in 1997 (for his Rosebud Award winning production "W"). Since then, Ty has scored music for many productions, written jingles for several advertising campaigns (such as "Feather Falls Casino" in 2003), and written music for 2 fulldome productions ("Aurora Borealis", and "Polar"). He was also nominated for "Best Music" along with 4 other nominations, and 2 awards for a 48 hour production called "Vernichter".
(A 48-hour production is part of the 48-hour film festival wherein competitors recieve a genre, a prop, a character name, and a line of dialogue. They have only 48-hours to write, direct, edit, and finalize a 7-minute film).
Ty has also released 2 CDs on iTunes, Amazon, Napster, and several other digitial distribution outlets. He plays 12 traditional instruments, but nowdays focuses mostly around synthesizers and guitars for his scoring needs. He also has experience on every type of Pro Tools system, Cakewalk/Sonar, Logic, Audition, and many other software packages for recording and mixing music.

Photography
Ty Audronis is also an experienced photographer. Using high resolution digital equipment, professional lighting, and techniques used by today's leading photographers, Ty can exceed expectations in nearly every genre of photography. From portraits, to food, to landscapes, Ty knows how to deliver great results, and has all the tools to do it.
