Vernichter (German for "Exterminator") was concieved as a production for the San Jose 48-hour Film Festival. A 48-hour film is where a team is given a required prop, character name and occupation, a line of dialogue, and genre of film. Then, the team must write, produce, edit, and finalize a film between 3 and 7 minutes in length. Ty was Executive Producer, Director, Editor, Sound Designer, and Composer on this film. Ty also cast and staffed the film. Vernichter received so much critical acclaim for the accomplishments of the production crew within the 48-hour requirement that it is currently being developed into a feature film.

Science in Action is a weekly video news magazine published to the web and museum floor by California Academy of Sciences. From 2008-2011, Ty was Supervising/Senior Editor in the Visualization Studio at California Academy of Sciences. Ty was responsible for designing the equipment and workflow for editorial at the Academy. Ty also acted as the Senior Editor (shooting, editing, and in some cases producing stories for Science in Action, as well as working in many roles in planetarium production).
Ty has been a Space Shuttle geek since the first launch when he was a child. When it came time for the final launch of the Shuttle, Ty couldn't resist using the Academy's ties at NASA to produce a farewell story for the Space Shuttle. Along with the story was a music montage (with music written by Ty just for the production).
Ty Audronis has been in the world of advertising for 15 years. Largely advertising for Casinos, Ty has met impossible deadlines and helped along marketing teams that had little experience with special effects. This advertisement was created in just 2 working days by Ty.
This piece uses Lightwave 3D v6, with RealFlow for fluid dynamics. All modeling, animation, and editing was done by Ty.
